F. G. Kimberley
Mrs F. G. Kimberley aka Charlotte Annie Kimberley was an actress, playwright and theatre manager. She was known as the 'Queen of Drama' and rose to fame during the height of melodrama. She wrote more than 40 plays including 'Little Grey Home in the West', and 'Ruined Lives' and co-managed the Theatre Royal Wolverhampton and the Grand Theatre Llandudno along with her husband. She was also lessee of theatres at Cardiff, Brighton and Birmingham at different points in her career. She was known for her philanthropy in helping struggling artistes.
