‘The Little Grey Home in the West is being presented here by Ernest Vaughan’s company. Phil Harper portrays Cecil Standing effectively. Frank Eaglesfield is very powerful as Dick Bryant. Edgar Morgan ably represents Jack Hantey. [sic – Hartley] Peggy Bryant has a bright and pleasing representative in Madge Douglas. Mary Bryant is in the excellent hands of Mabel Liston. Ada Roscoe plays with dignity as Mrs. H. Standing, and Ellen Beverley acts realistically as Mrs. Bryant’. The Stage, 23 March 1916.
