‘Tom Major is presenting his Special Edition [at the Queen’s Varieties, Castleford]. It is a pretty show and funny. Kitty Major is popular. Tubby Turner causes amusement. The Soldiers’ Wives company give a popular turn. The Dorothy Troupe dance themselves into favour.
