Examiner of Plays' Summary:

A musical extravaganza with a story constructed on the casual but conventional lines of revue. The action begins at a fair in a village, where the hero, an aeronaut, is planning an expedition to the sultry Isle of Radium in search of treasure to enable him to marry the heroine, who is the daughter of the local pawnbroker, The technical humours of the pawnbroker's business as misconducted by his yokel assistants lead up to his discovery of the hero's scheme and his determination to forestall him in it. In the last act the hero and heroine, with the latter's comic mother, find themselves followed to the island by the pawnbroker and the lads and lessees of the village, who have made their trip by some means undescribed. The pantomimic fun over the rival attempts to locate the treasure ends in the triumph of the air-man and the defeat of the pawnbroker and his allies. There is not much humour but no offence in the nonsense. The words however of the omitted songs, if not published ones, must be forwarded for consideration. Recommended for licence. Ernest A. Bendall. Songs published ones and objectionable. EAB. Aug 7th.
