Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

This is a farcical comedietta with a hero who has been ‘doing his bit ‘for national Service by cheering up the girls while the men are away at the Front. Thus he has engaged himself to Dora at Dover to Margaret at Margate and to Fanny at Folkestone. Unfortunately he comes across all of them at a seaside hotel where he is staying with his wife, and he naturally gets into a good deal of trouble, matrimonial and otherwise. The nonsense is interspersed with songs, which, like the romp and cross-talk, are quite harmless. Recommended for License. Ernest A. Bendall
