Keble Howard
The son of a former Vicar of Henley-in-Arden, Warwickshire, John Keble Bell was born in July 1875. He was educated at Worcester College Oxford and was intended for a clerical career. He became an author through following a career in journalism. After a spell as a dramatic critic he settled down to writing plays and novels. He died on 29th March 1928.
