Rica Bromley Taylor
Rica Bromley-Taylor was born Frederica Jeanette Newman in London in 1869 and married William Bromley Taylor in Kensington in 1902. In 1927 she would hit the headlines after patenting a version of car indicators and in the same year a sketch 'Her Bunny Boy' was broadcast from Birmingham on November 23. 'Two Woman and Telephone' was broadcast on February 1, 1929 on Daventry 5GB Experimental. One of her most substantial works 'The Boy Who Lost His Temper' was voted one of the Stage's plays of the year for 1936. Bromley-Taylor died on 27 July 1941.
