‘On Saturday evening, at St. Michael’s Hall, where there was an excellent attendance, the Lewes players brought to a conclusion a very interesting series of performances of one act plays, two of which were by George Bernard Shaw .After the fall of the curtain Mr. J. Jeffery, who had played the part of Blanco Posnet in Shaw’s play, on behalf of the company presented to the Rev. Kenneth Rawlings a very handsome, newly-published volume, containing the whole of the plays of George Bernard Shaw.
