Read Narrative
‘Excellent Production by Kent College Girls. Before a large gathering of parents and friends the pupils of Kent College performed their annual play at the Grand Hotel on Friday last week. The play, “A Kiss for Cinderella,” by J. M. Barrie, was outstanding for the finish of the entire production. Much credit is reflected upon Miss Phyllis Newnham, the producer, for the high individual standard of such a large cast. The dressing of the play, particularly in the palace scene, was all that could be desired, and full proof of the young actors’ success was given by the loud applause at the close of the production’.
