Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

A pantomimic musical burlesque, dealing with the troubles of a city man, his wife and his daughters at the seaside. One of the girls falls in love with an aviator, who elopes in an aeroplane with her cousin to Paris, whither they are followed on the channel packet by the whole family. In the meanwhile pater-familias is recognised by a former flame, a male impersonator, who tries to levy blackmail on the strength of his compromising letters of days gone by. There is no harm in the nonsense; but the words of any new songs to be introduced m must be forwarded for approval. Recommended for license, Ernest A. Bendall
