Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

A skit on the new regulations about treating. A man and woman at the bar, reinforced by an imaginary man, argue with the barmaid as to what constitutes a meal, and finally are deprived of their drink by the clock striking ten. It is a harmless thing, but I have marked the expression 'Gott in Kummel!' on page 1 as being profane: it is however such a trifle and so unlikely to be noticed that it seems hardly worthwhile to cut it out.
