The Wily Willie's Imitated
Examiner of Plays' Summary:
This is a kind of skeleton political revue, apparently for performance by Tate and his boy assistant. It deals crudely with the European war, as symbolized in the pantomimic proceedings - dishonest and brutal - of a certain Big & Little Willie in their attacks upon the shops of England Russia, Belgium and France, rivals to the German - Sausage - Establishment hard by. Troubles also with Italy, Turkey, Servia and an Australian Prince and Princess are suggested. There seems little fresh point in either dialogue or action: but both are innocuous. Recommended for license Ernest A. Bendall.
