Echoes Of The South
Examiner of Plays' Summary:
The idea of this piece - it can hardly be called a play but having dialogue is properly sent in - is that some people met together to rehearse for ac ceremony, which apparently is to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the ownership of a plantation. Accordingly old black Joe' sings the 'Swanee River' and another song; a lady sings 'the soldier's farewell' and so forth. It is all very simple and innocent. Recommended for license G. S. Street
