High Spirits

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

Animated and fairly funny farce [all about young widow ascertaining if her late husband would approve of new marriage to the major but major sets up imposters for the scene. Actually real husband appears and had escaped death as result of fire at his factory and since been confined in lunatic asylum. Imposters are bewildered by their supposed success, major is annoyed, widow doubts and live 'ghost' is mystified. All very effective - Bendall
