Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

[...] There is no harm in the nonsense, but on p.4 I notice an extremely bad lapse of taste: the child is introduced as 'the latest War Baby'. It is merely a question of taste, but I think it is bad enough to be cut out. The scene in which the girl is supposed to have locked her lover in the bathroom and several young men come out is so merely nonsensical - there is not the faintest suggestion of any reality - that no one could object to it (p.9) With the exception of the 'War Baby' line the piece is Recommended for license.
