Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

There is nothing objectionable in these re-written scenes concerning the proposed sale of a Telephone Exchange. There is, it is true, some vulgar chaff of special constables in Scene II; but this has so little point or bite that I think it may pass. A constable, whether special or common, must be able to take a joke. This revised revue, with its songs, is accordingly Recommended for license. Ernest A. Bendall.
