Examiner of Plays' Summary:

What happens at the 'eleventh hour' is that, during the French Revolution, a Royalist General, who has signed the death-warrant of a lady suspected of Republican conspiracy, discovers from the prisoner's mother that she is his mistress of many years ago, and that the condemned youth is their son. Upon this the General cancels the warrant on the grounds of insufficient evidence, and thus brings the jejune little drama to a happy end. Recommended for license. Ernest A. Bendall.
