There are some more or less novel elements in this development of the story. The golden eggs grant wishes. Mother Goose wants to marry Bobbie, the Squire's son, who loves Rosie, her niece. She wishes him to love her, but his love cools. She is then taken by a wicked magician to Vineland and wishes herself beautiful. But the Squire steals her lands and she becomes a fortune teller. Everything is put right and she returns to her original farm in contentment. There is no harm in the dialogue. The songs must be sent. Recommended for licence. G. S.
