Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

This little piece, called a revuette, has no story but consists of playful cross-talk between young people, who thus lead up to their songs. These ditties are some of them given and are inoffensive: the others are said to be published ones but their words must all be forwarded for approval. In the case of the burlesque scene 'the burning house' where the dramatist personae appear in their 'night attire' care must be taken that this is decent. Recommended for licence. Ernest A. Bendall. The songs for the above are recommended for licence. EAB 14 November.
