The Hula Maid
Examiner of Plays' Summary:
A trifling 'musical comedy burlesque' which burlesques nothing, but simply tells the story of the love of the hero, a Lieutenant, for the heroine, a missing heiress from Jula-land who has to be saved from a comic detective, following her about in order to gain the reward offered for her discovery. There are no complications for the elaboration of this mild romance, which is happily as innocent as it is feeble. The words of the songs to be introduced must however all be forwarded for consideration. Recommended for Licence. Ernest A. Bendall. 4 October 1918. These songs are recommended for Licence. Ernest A.
