The East African
Examiner of Plays' Summary:
This playlet is a duologue between Koko, a chief from German East Africa and Cora, who being half-African herself, makes a sympathetic listener as he tells her of his mission. He has come to London to thank King George and the British nation for their invasion of a land suffering from the brutality of Hun rule. The very original little novelty has, in its native dance and song, some touches of humour which serve to lighten its serious note of patriotic loyalty. Recommended for licence. Ernest A. Bendall.
