Down Devonshire Way
Examiner of Plays' Summary:
The ingenuous rustic idyll of the successful courtship by a wounded soldier of a land-girl, whom he meets on the Devonshire Farm to which he has betaken himself to avoid marrying the London heiress chosen for him by his father. The land-girl proves to be no other than the heiress, so the pastoral humours of her surroundings lead to a happy sentimental climax. Recommended for Licence. Ernest A. Bendall
