Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

Lola is the wife of one Gunn; he refuses to pay her bills; she decides to make him jealous. So she flirts with a man who has a low comedian friend and arranges to dine with him. Gunn arrives and there is business with a screne [sic - screen] and eventually, Gunn knowing that he meant no harm, they all dine together. I have marked a slight innuendo on p.4 but it is hardly worth noticing. The piece is harmless rubbish. The songs are duly given. Recommended for licence. G. S. Street
