Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

The scene is laid in an inn at Luxemburg [sic] at the beginning of the war. A French woman escapes from Germany and is protected by an English officer and his sister. Enter the Germans, but the English officer escapes in the German officer’s tunic, returns, 'hands up' the German and rescues everybody. It is impossible nonsense, but with no harm in it. Any new songs must be sent. Recommended for licence. G. S. Street. July 23, the songs are all published.
