Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

A miniature Revue or musical farce. Its story is that of a female kleptomaniac and a male swindler who rob some stores, but by the aid of some comic detectives are caught. Instead of being tried for their offence however, they are forgiven by the tender-hearted store-proprietor, who finds that they have just arrived and are prepared to go abroad, the one as a soldier and the other as a Red Cross nurse. Quite inoffensive; but the songs to be introduced must be forwarded for consideration. Recommended for licence. Ernest A. Bendall. July 23 1918. The original songs for this revue have been sent and may be passed. G. S. Street
