[…] There is some curiously out-of-date satire at the expenses of the women's suffrage movement, with impossible caricatures of women representing the 'Women's Social Federation', absurdly unfair but too silly to offend, I think. Otherwise the play is as inoffensive as it is foolish. It was worth noting that it is the third play by the same author just sent in - all to be produced at the privileged Oldham.
