Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

A little musical sketch of the early days of the war, when the heroine, an English girl at Galata, is being pressed by Hassein Bey to save herself - after the British declaration of war - by entertaining his harem as one of his wives. She is protected by an American naval officer and his sailor-servant, who procure for her a passport and in other ways ante-date the friendly alliance between Great Britain and the United States. Quite wholesome, both in its sentiment and militant patriotism.
