Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

This consists of some playful but rather pointless fun in a toyshop between the shopkeeper who tries to palm off his daughter, as an accomplished performing doll, upon a lady customer whom he wants to please and to marry for her money. Some of the 'dolls' are girls described as 'underdressed' in national costumes; so care must be taken that their degree of attire is decent. It is stated all the songs to be introduced in the feeble little piece have been published. Recommended for license. Ernest A. Bendall
