It's Up To You: 'For Peace And Liberty'
Examiner of Plays' Summary:
This is the musical farce of the doings of a couple of adventurers at a Riviera hotel, where each is perpetually saying to the other 'it's up to you' as they seek escape from the consequences of their frauds. These include a swindling raffle for the visitors, the impersonation of an unexpected millionaire from America, some petty thefts and a triumphant imposition whereby, as a couple of sham detectives, they restore the stolen property. The harmless lively nonsense winds up at a carnival ball with a patriotic 'grand finale of allies in national dress' recommended for licence. Ernest A. Bendall.
