Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

A 'comedy duologue' between a lady deputising as a wartime-waitress and a would-be customer, at a restaurant where most of the dishes are in one way or another 'off'. The humours of the desperate attempt to order a meal are most of them familiar, as in the case of the cheese that eat the bread. But although common they are harmless: and the sketch is recommended for licence. Ernest A. Bendall
