Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

A conventional little play of the French Revolution. An actress passess off her aristocrative lover as an actor of the Vaudeville and tricks the public prosecutor, as she thinks, into giving him a passport, but the latter has seen through the disguise and gloats like a monster over the aristocrat's impending death; however, the tables are turned when the aristocrat returns disguised as a republican guard and overpowers the public prosecutor, thus escaping with the actress into safety.
