Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

This is a little piece of musical nonsense about the girl members of a 'slate club' and their flirtatious doings. One of them draws on a slate a chalk man, who comes to life, and finds that the artist has omitted to provide him with legs. This does not prevent the enjoyment of a kissing lesson, a trip by the honeymoon train and a war worker's drill. There is no offence in childish action or dialogue; but the songs omitted must be forwarded for consideration. Recommended for Licence. Ernest A. Bendall. Songs are now forwarded and passed.
