Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

This is a miniature 'revue', showing how an RFC man comes from France, where he has been doing wonderful things, to see his Irish sweetheart, and enjoys en route an evening at a music-hall, where the girls all welcome him and his impudent young valet. Then comes a threat from his uncle to cut him off unless he marries a lady not of his own choice, whereupon he bolts, pursued by two comic detectives but helped by his valet to secure his colleen for a war wedding before he is ordered off to the front again. There is no harm in the trifle: but the songs to be introduced must be submitted for approval. Recommended for Licence. Ernest A. Bendall.
