Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

This farce was first produced in 1879, under the title 'Freezing a Mother-in-Law'. Alterations have been made in it, chiefly excisions. Mr Watmuff is henpecked by his wife. His nephew invents a process by which a person's animation can be suspended by a slight injection and restored by another injection. He and Watmuff agree to try it on Mrs Watmuff [...] Rather silly but quite innocent. Recommended for Licence. G. S. Street
