The Pageant Of Freedom
Examiner of Plays' Summary:
This should be an effective pageant, composed as it is by a very skilful and experienced hand. It begins with the assembling of the various parts of the British Empire, with appropriate addresses to Great Britain and replies, passes on to deliveries by Faith, Hope, and other allegorical or symbolic figures, and ends in the assembling of the Allies, culminating in the entrance of America. Mr Parker's verse is always at least vigorous and lucid. Recommended for Licence G. S. Street
