Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

This is a mixture of fairy play and rather superior revue. It begins on a housetop with the Sugar Plum Fairy and her attendants. Imp, the Fairy messenger who has been sent to invite a child who believes in fairies to a fairy party is late and the others go. Imp arrives and finds a boy who believes in fairies and talks with other mortals. in the next scene the mortal children give Imp a day in town; this is a topical sort of a scene with up-to-date slang and so forth. The last scene is the fairy party and consists chiefly of songs. The songs should be sent in if new. Probably they are all innocent, but as part of the play is topical the rule had better be kept.
