Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

A wowser' is, it seems, the much bullied husband of a nagging wife: and this farce illustrates a dream of his in which he revolts against the domestic tyrant and terrifies her by running amok and shouting at every woman he meets by way of protest against the female rule. There is not much humour in the far-fetched fun, which, indeed, seems hardly worth fetching: but there is not the slightest harm. Recommended for license. Ernest A. Bendall
