Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

A rather pointless and stupid skit on Sherlock Holmes. Holmes proposes to Watson, who is in love with an American girl and talks American slang, to go in disguise to the German army and administer a fatal powder. Watson refuses. Holmes tries to give it to him in a cup of tea but Watson moves the cups and Holmes drinks it. But it is only bicarbonate of soda. Recommended for Licence. G. S. Street
