The Squire And The Yokel
Examiner of Plays' Summary:
This is a dialogue, mainly a duologue between a squire and a yokel with a lady farmer joining in, arranged for ventriloquially purposes. It consists, of course, mainly of puns and is quite harmless, except that on p.5 there is an equivocal remark about ‘testimonials’ which had better be cut out recommended for licence. G. S. Street
