Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

The author of this pantomime is a private, but he is evidently an old hand in the theatrical business, to judge by his stage directions. The pantomime is all comic relief and some of the dialogue is rather on the vulgar side; there is no harm in it, however. The story pursues the ordinary course of shipwreck and Treasure Island and some of the devices e.g. The old man of the sea directing a submarine should be effective. Recommended for Licence. G. S.
