Babes in the Wood
Examiner of Plays' Summary:
A rather rough pantomime of the old-fashioned order making much of the humours of the wicked Uncle, the robbers hired for the murder, and the Dame whose ugly daughter is made a jealous rival of Maid Marian for the love of the gallant Robin Hood. The only novel episode is the meeting of nearly all the dramatis personae at an 'Emporium' where store-shopping is burlesqued There is no offence in any of the rough-and-tumble fun which is accordingly Recommended for Licence. Ernest A. Bendall.
