Bo-Bo
Examiner of Plays' Summary:
This little piece, described as a 'musical comedy in four cocktails', has for its subject the loss and recovery of an actress's dog named 'Bo-Bo'. As both the actress and the detective whom she presses into her service have a mania for disguising themselves the search for the dog is [a] rather complicated affair, and takes the dramatis personae on a comic railway journey to Italy and then back to Hyde Park for some burlesque drill for ladies. It is incoherent nonsense but quite void of offence. Recommended for Licence. Ernest A. Bendall
