This is a Sketch, mainly a monologue, of the detective methods of a burlesque 'Sherlock Holmes'. At considerable length the comic gentleman 'from Scotland Yard; patters to the audience about his skill: and he then proceeds to exhibit some of it in the case of a lady, as eccentric as himself, who come to give himself up for poisoning her husband. His efforts to make a 'Cast' for himself out of the lady's 'confession' so infuriate her that she ends the farcical sketch by knocking him down. Nonsensical but harmless, and Recommended for Licence.
