Hello Morton!
Examiner of Plays' Summary:
This is a sketch for the introduction of the French comedian from the Ambassadors to a fresh audience elsewhere. The scene is a rehearsal at which the new-comer, especially anxious to give a recitation, gets into all sorts of trouble with a stage-manager anxious to get him measured for the uniform of a highlander. The verbal humour of it all does not strike one as brilliant, though it is inoffensive; but the success of laughter which is sought may be achieved by the ‘business’ of Morton and his chief colleague.
