Wanted, a Husband
Examiner of Plays' Summary:
This is a very entertaining farcical comedy, with the unusual advantage of a fresh idea for the motive of its plot. The idea is that of an enterprising young lady-novelist who, in order to secure subjects as 'copy' for her next book, advertises for a husband, and makes appointments for several of the answers to call upon her at her flat. She naturally soon gets into trouble over misunderstandings which arise; but she has a reliable defender against insult in a suffragette chum who has much skill in the science of ju-jit-su.
