The New Partner

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

After some chaff between a cockney servant and a "dude", the latter has an offer to do a double turn at the Halls and asks her both to join him in that and then to marry him. She at first refuses on the grounds of difference in class, but consents after he has told her he has been at the Front and given a recitation about what he experienced there. This recitation is not given, but as this little piece is entirely innocent I do not think we need trouble about it: probably it is some familiar recitation. Recommended for License G. S. Street
