Researcher's Summary:

When Carrying On was licensed for performance its authors, Tom Major and Charles Levy, were performing in the revue Stop Press, which is also in the Great War Theatre database. It may be that Carrying On was intended for inclusion in that revue. However, newspaper accounts of Stop Press make no reference to it, either by name or by describing its plot. No mention of the Bury Hippodrome has been found in connection with either Stop Press or Carrying On. So it is unclear if, when and where Carrying On was performed.
