His Wife's Friend
Examiner of Plays' Summary:
A young wife, who has written a play of which she is sure her husband will disapprove, gets an old friend to rehearse it with her as a substitute. The part for which he is cast is that of the lady's husband; and in the middle of the rehearsal the real husband returns, and naturally misunderstands a situation mildly elaborated in a spirit of broad but wholly inoffensive farce.
