This contains the usual incidents, in the usual sequence, of a Cinderella pantomime. It is also of the average quality, but leans more to the vulgar comic business – the Baron getting tipsy and so on – than prettiness. There is nothing to be censored, however, in the dialogue as it stands. But there is such a mass of songs, “specialities” and gag scenes omitted that it is impossible to judge at present how the production as a work will turn out. These must be sent in. I notice a mention of “live rabbits” on page 9, but I suppose these are mechanical. Recommended for licence (Sg) G. S. Street
