Examiner of Plays' Summary:

The familiar story of Little Red Riding Hood and her perils at the jaws of the wolf, which, instigated by the wiles of wicked Squire, poses as the child's Grandmother, and is about to devour her when she is saved by the gallantry of the usual Principal Boy of the ingenuous Pantomime. The issues of the fairy-tale are somewhat confused by the introduction of various other heroes and heroines of nursery fiction, such for example as Boy Blue, Miss Muffet, and Jack Horner, but there is no harm in the sayings and doings of any of them save, perhaps, their tendency to puzzle the orthodox student of juvenile fiction. The words, however, of the songs to be interpolated, must be forwarded for consideration. Recommended for Licence EAB Songs forwarded and approved EAB 15/12/16
